Our tomatoes have grown significantly in the past couple of weeks. We decided to transplant them to the ground today.
We were amazed at the intricate root system of each plant - another one of mother nature's wonders.
We mixed store-bought and native soil together to enrich the soil and hopefully optimize their growth.
Each plant got about 1 gallon of water each to prevent transplant shock.
We also used tomato stakes and cages to help facilitate the growth.
We decided to experiment with one of the plants by way of a home-made Topsy-Turvy using a up-side-down milk jug.
All in a day's work...you dig it?
