We decided to grab an early brunch near our hotel before J&J's wedding in the afternoon. Our trusty friend Yelp! guided us to this quaint breakfast joint in downtown Petaluma.
1. eggs, bacon and pancakes - simple and yummy; can't really go wrong with this breakfast trinity.
2. cornmeal waffles with strawberries and bananas - first time I've ever had cornmeal in a waffle and it was super yummy. The cornmeal gives the waffle a grainy and heartier texture, not the lightness and chewiness a regular flour batter provides.
This was a cute place for breakfast/brunch. One negative was that there were flies swarming inside! But for some reason, no one seemed to mind. Maybe it's a Petaluma thing...
